Home networks are almost mandatory in today's home, with most families having 2 or more computers throughout the house and usually some type of broadband internet. To share your one internet connection throughout the house, a network is the only way. If you are only planning to share internet access or printers, or have several laptops in the home, a wireless network may be the way to go. They are relatively cheap to have installed, and have the ability to supply every room with access for mobile access. Wireless networks can also be as small or as large as needed for the home.
